This lecture is broken up into 7 parts covering medical knowledge, problem-based learning and improvement, and patient care.
Goals & Objectives:

· Describe a practical approach to Medically Assisted Weight Loss
· Define all past and current Cardiovascular Outcomes Trials (CVOT) and implications in care
· Present a case, use to apply and describe medication classes
o SGLT-2
o GLP-1
o TZD, Atypicals
· Identify future opportunities in Diabetes Management
o Pre-Diabetes
o New medications/classes
Accreditation Statements:
The Missouri Association of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons (MAOPS) is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians. Grievance Policy:
All grievances should be in writing and should specify the nature of the grievance.
